A vehicle sensor device (1) is provided with: an outer cover (12); a sensor unit (20) which is disposed further toward the inside of a vehicle (VE) than the outer cover (12), sends and receives prescribed electromagnetic waves that are transmitted through the outer cover (12), and outputs a signal relating to electromagnetic waves which enter the inside of the outer cover (12); and a heat generating member which, by means of the conduction of electricity, heats a transmission region (AR) of the outer cover (12) through which the electromagnetic waves sent from the sensor unit are transmitted. The heat generating member is attached to the outer cover (12) in such a way that the inside of the transmission region (AR) is sparser than the outside of the transmission region (AR). Un dispositif de capteur de véhicule (1) est doté : d'un couvercle externe (12) ; d'une unité de capteur (20) qui est disposée davantage en direction de l'intérieur d'un véhicule (VE) que le couvercle externe (12), envoie et reçoit des ondes électromagnétiques prescrites qui sont transmises à travers le couvercle externe (12), et délivre un signal relatif à des ondes électromagnétiques qui entrent à l'intérieur du couvercle externe (12) ; et un élément de génération de chaleur qui, au moyen de la conduction de l'électricité, chauffe une région de transmission (AR) du couvercle externe (12) à travers laquelle les ondes électromagnétiques envoyées à partir de l'unité de capteur sont transmises.
