The method comprises: generating a first Merkle tree according to a first data table in a first database, generating a second Merkle tree according to a second data table in a second database, wherein the structure and generation method of the first Merkle tree and the second Merkle tree are exactly the same, and therefore, whether the first data table and the second data table are consistent can be determined by directly comparing hash values of root nodes of the two Merkle trees, such that the demand for accurate and fast verification of massive data can be met.
