An interactive emoticon generating method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: allowing a base emoticon to be selected; allowing a user text to be inputted; displaying a preview of an interactive emoticon to be transmitted on the basis of the selected base emoticon and the inputted user text; and synthesizing the interactive emoticon according to the selected base emoticon and the inputted user text, wherein the step of displaying the preview of the interactive emoticon can include a step of altering font size or changing lines according to the number of characters of inputted user text.
