A washing machine according to the present invention comprises: an upper frame (2) of a body having an opening through which laundry is inserted and removed; and a lid body (5) that opens and closes the opening. The lid body (5) is axially supported by the upper frame (2) and has a cushioning member (7) that cushions the impact of abutting the upper frame (2) when the lid body (5) is closed. Furthermore, a contact section (8), of the upper frame (2), at which the cushioning member (7) abuts is formed in a protruding shape such that the contact surface area between the contact section (8) and the cushioning member (7) is smaller than the contact surface area for a case in which the cushioning member (7) contacts a flat surface of the upper frame (2). La présente invention concerne une machine à laver qui comprend : un cadre supérieur (2) d'un corps ayant une ouverture à travers laquelle le linge est inséré et retiré ; et un corps de couvercle (5) qui ouvre et ferme l'ouverture.
