Summary: | A low-E (low emissivity) coating includes a multilayer overcoat designed for reducing fingerprints. The multilayer overcoat includes a layer comprising an oxide of zirconium (e.g., ZrO2) sandwiched between and contacting first and second layers of or including silicon nitride (e.g., Si3N4, SiOxNy, SiZrOxNy, or the like). The uppermost layer comprising silicon nitride modifies the surface energy of the layer comprising the oxide of zirconium so as to make the uppermost surface of the coating more hydrophilic, thereby reducing or minimizing interaction between zirconium oxide and finger oil to reduce fingerprints on the uppermost surface of the coating.
La présente invention concerne un enrobage à faible E (faible émissivité) comprenant un revêtement de finition multicouche conçu pour la réduction des empreintes digitales. Le revêtement de finition multicouche comprenant une couche comprenant un oxyde de zirconium (par exemple, ZrO2) prise en sandwich entre des première et seconde couches et entrant en contact avec celles-ci, ou comprenant du nitrure de silicium (par exemple, Si3N4, SiOxNy, SiZrOxNy, ou similaires). La couche supérieure comprenant du nitrure de silicium modifie l'énergie de surface de la couche comprenant l'oxyde de zirconium afin de rendre plus hydrophile la surface supérieure du revêtement, réduisant ou minimisant ainsi l'interaction entre l'oxyde de zirconium et la matière grasse des doigts pour réduire les empreintes digitales sur la surface supérieure du revêtement. |
