Summary:This invention relates to copolymers which consist essentially of [-ether-phenyl-ether-phenyl- carbonyl-phenyl-]and [ether-phenyl-phenyl-ether-phenyl-carbonyl-phenyl-] repeat units, as well as end units, which have reduced melting temperature (Tm) compared to prior art copolymers including such repeat units. The copolymers of the invention exhibit crystallinity and have similar glass transition temperatures to the prior art polymers. La présente invention concerne des copolymères qui sont essentiellement constitués d'unités de répétition [-éther-phényle-éther-phényle-carbonyle-phényle-] et [éther-phényle-phényle-éther-phényle-carbonyle-phényle-], ainsi que des unités terminales, qui ont une température de fusion réduite (Tm) par rapport aux copolymères de l'état de la technique comprenant de telles unités de répétition. Les copolymères de l'invention présentent une cristallinité et ont des températures de transition vitreuse similaires aux polymères de l'art antérieur.
