The present invention relates to a mandrel (2) suitable for use in surface metallization process (electrodeposition) by electrolysis; at least one inner coating (3) which is metallized on an outer surface of the mandrel (2) by electrolysis method such that it almost entirely covers the outer surface thereof, allowing electrical conductivity to be created on the surface; at least one outer coating (4) which is obtained by almost entirely an electrolytic and/or electroless metallization on the inner coating (3). La présente invention concerne un mandrin (2) approprié pour une utilisation dans un procédé de métallisation de surface (électrodéposition) par électrolyse ; au moins un revêtement interne (3) qui est métallisé sur une surface externe du mandrin (2) par un procédé d'électrolyse, de telle sorte qu'il recouvre presque entièrement la surface externe correspondante, permettant de créer une conductivité électrique sur la surface ; au moins un revêtement externe (4) qui est obtenu par une métallisation presque totale électrolytique et/ou autocatalytique sur le revêtement interne (3).
