This invention relates to an information processing device, an information processing method and a program which allow processing to be suitably shared depending on remaining battery capacity. This information processing device is provided with a mode switching unit which switches the mode depending on the remaining charge and/or the heat of the battery; the mode switching unit switches between a first mode, in which prescribed processing is performed on a first device, and a second mode, in which the prescribed processing is performed on a second device.
