Disclosed is a method for running a process, comprising: receiving a process start request, and executing a executable file of a target process in a kernel according to the process start request to obtain first running function data that supports the target process to run in the kernel; migrating the first running function data to a function security partition to obtain second running function data, the function security partition and the kernel being located the same privileged layer; and running the target process in the function security partition on the basis of the second running function data.
