Summary:The present invention relates to a copolymer having increased heat resistance, high transparency and low haze values. The invention further relates to moulding compositions comprising this copolymer and to a process for the manufacturing this copolymer. The moulding compositions of the present invention are highly suitable for the manufacturing of optical elements used in various optical devices including primary optics, secondary optics, tertiary optics as well as light guides. La présente invention concerne un copolymère ayant une résistance à la chaleur accrue, une transparence élevée et de faibles valeurs de trouble. L'invention concerne en outre des compositions de moulage contenant ce copolymère et un procédé pour la fabrication de ce copolymère. Les compositions de moulage selon la présente invention sont hautement appropriées pour la fabrication d'éléments optiques utilisés dans divers dispositifs optiques dont les optiques primaires, les optiques secondaires, les optiques tertiaires ainsi que les guides de lumière.
