This congestion information display system comprises: a housing which has a plurality of surfaces associated with congestion information that indicates a congestion situation in a facility; a sensor device which has an acceleration sensor that acquires an acceleration that changes in accordance with a change in the direction of the housing through an operation of a user; a detection unit which detects, on the basis of the acceleration acquired by the acceleration sensor, a surface facing a prescribed direction among the plurality of surfaces; a congestion information acquisition unit which acquires the congestion information associated with the surface detected by the detection unit; and a display processing unit which displays, on a display device, the congestion information acquired by the congestion information acquisition unit.
