Disclosed is a hair care appliance comprising: a housing having a first end and a second end and a fluid inlet which extends around the housing and is proximate the first end of the housing, a fluid outlet, a fluid flow path extending within the housing between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, wherein the fluid inlet is provided with a filtering system comprising a removable portion and a fixed portion wherein the removable portion comprises a first part and a second part which are separable and wherein the first part can only be secured to the housing when the second part is attached to the first part. The first part may be a sleeve capable of sliding over the second part. The second part may comprises a tubular portion and base portion extending radially out from the tubular portion at one end of the tubular portion. L'invention concerne un appareil de soins capillaires comprenant : un boîtier ayant une première extrémité et une seconde extrémité et une entrée de fluide qui s'étend autour du boîtier et est proche de la première extrémité du boîtier, une sortie de fluide, un trajet d'écoulement de fluide s'étendant dans le boîtier entre l'entrée de fluide et la sortie de fluide, l'entrée de fluide comprenant un système de filtration comprenant une partie amovible et une partie fixe, la partie amovible comprenant une première partie et une seconde partie qui sont séparables, et la première partie pouvant uniquement être fixée au boîtier lorsque la seconde partie est fixée à la première partie. La première partie peut être un manchon apte à coulisser sur la seconde partie. La seconde partie peut comprendre une partie tubulaire et une partie de base s'étendant radialement vers l'extérieur à partir de la partie tubulaire à une extrémité de la partie tubulaire.
