This battery information management system has: a battery; and a server that communicates with the battery via a network. The battery is provided with: a storage unit that stores maintenance information for maintaining the battery, user information about personal information of a user of the battery, and use history information of the battery; an information communication unit that transmits the user information and the use history information from the storage unit to the server; and a control unit that controls the storage unit and the information communication unit. The control unit deletes the user information and the use history information from the storage unit after the transmission process executed by the information communication unit. An information management unit in the server encrypts and manages the user information stored in a first storage region.
