The present invention provides a server characterized by comprising: an acquisition means for acquiring compensation information that includes compensation paid for the purchase of a battery mounted to a vehicle capable of traveling using an electric motor as the power source, said compensation being offered by a first user wishing to reuse the battery; a provision means for providing a second user who owns the vehicle with the compensation information acquired by the acquisition means; a determination means for determining a business operator who removes the battery from the vehicle when the second user has approved the sale of the battery at the compensation included in the compensation information; and a notification means for notifying the second user of business operator information relating to the business operator determined by the determination means.
