An assistance device according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized by having: a specificity-level calculation means that calculates a specificity level indicating the degree to which an input sentence is specifically described, on the basis of prescribed words included in the inputted sentence, and a response expression indicating a description that is a response to at least one of the 5W1H elements within the sentence; and a notification sentence creation means that creates a notification sentence for recommending to a user a description of a specific sentence when the specificity level is lower than a prescribed threshold value.
