Summary:The present invention comprises: a stage on which a sample is placed; a vibration unit configured to generate vibration in the stage; a plurality of probe units having a quartz vibrator and a contact member affixed to the quartz vibrator and provided so as to be able to contact the sample, and each differing in the type of contact member, wherein the plurality of probe units are configured so as to selectively allow one of the probe units to contact the sample; and a control unit for calculating the properties of the sample on the basis of the vibration of the vibration unit and a vibration transmitted to a quartz member via the sample from the vibration of the vibration unit.
