Provided herein are immunogenic compositions for the prevention of Zika virus infections. Disclosed herein are immunogenic compositions comprising an expression vector and a nucleotide sequence disposed therein, wherein the nucleotide sequence comprises: a nucleotide sequence encoding a Zika virus NS3 protein. Further disclosed herein are methods for preventing a Zika virus infection in a subject in need thereof, the method comprising administering a therapeutically effective amount of an immunogenic composition of the present disclosure to the subject. La présente invention concerne des compositions immunogènes pour la prévention d'infections par le virus Zika. L'invention concerne des compositions immunogènes comprenant un vecteur d'expression et une séquence nucléotidique disposée à l'intérieur de celui-ci, la séquence nucléotidique comprenant : une séquence nucléotidique codant pour une protéine NS3 du virus Zika. L'invention concerne en outre des méthodes pour prévenir une infection par le virus Zika chez un sujet en ayant besoin, la méthode comprenant l'administration d'une quantité thérapeutiquement efficace d'une composition immunogène selon la présente invention au sujet.
