Summary:The present invention relates to a process for the synthesis of polyesters comprising reacting a dicarboxylic acid monomer with a dialcohol monomer, in an equimolar concentration in the range of 0.2 M to 1.0 M, in the presence of a biocatalyst, in an aqueous polymerization medium, at a temperature in the range of 25-45°C, the biocatalyst being in the form of an enzyme immobilized on a solid support. The present invention further provides a copolymer obtained by the invention process. La présent einvention concerne un procédé de synthèse de polyesters consistant à faire réagir un monomère d'acide dicarboxylique avec un monomère de dialcool, selon une concentration équimolaire dans une plage de 0,2 M à 1,0 M, en présence d'un biocatalyseur, dans un milieu de polymérisation aqueux, à une température comprise entre 25 et 45°C, le biocatalyseur se présentant sous la forme d'une enzyme immobilisée sur support solide. La présente invention concerne également un copolymère obtenu au moyen du procédé selon l'invention. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de síntese de poliésteres compreendendo fazer reagir um monómero de ácido dicarboxílico com um monómero de diálcool, numa concentração equimolar numa gama de 0,2 M a 1,0 M, na presença de um biocatalisador, num meio de polimerização aquoso, a uma temperatura na gama de 25 - 45ºC, estando o biocatalisador na forma de enzima imobilizada em suporte sólido. A presente invenção proporciona ainda um copolímero obtido pelo processo da invenção.
