Summary:The present disclosure provides an engineered microorganism capable of producing malonic acid, malonate, esters of malonic acid, or mixtures thereof. The engineered microorganism includes a malonate-semialdehyde dehydrogenase that is heterologous to a native form of the engineered microorganism and comprises at least 90% sequence identity to any one of SEQ ID Nos: 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 27, 29, and 31, wherein the engineered microorganism is capable of producing about 9 g/L to about 250 g/L of malonic acid, malonate, esters of malonic acid, or mixtures thereof. La présente invention concerne un micro-organisme modifié capable de produire de l'acide malonique, du malonate, des esters d'acide malonique ou des mélanges de ceux-ci. Le micro-organisme modifié comprend une malonate-semialdéhyde déshydrogénase qui est hétérologue à une forme native du micro-organisme modifié et comprend au moins 90 % d'identité de séquence avec l'une quelconque des SEQ ID NO : 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 27, 29 et 31, le micro-organisme modifié étant capable de produire d'environ 9 g/L à environ 250 g/L d'acide malonique, de malonate, d'esters d'acide malonique ou de mélanges de ceux-ci.
