Un article non tissé comprend un substrat non tissé ayant une bande ouverte de fibres, élastique, formée par un procédé d'aiguilletage. Le substrat non tissé est revêtu d'au moins un revêtement pour fournir des caractéristiques de performances améliorées comprenant le gonflant, l'allongement, la résistance à la traction, la rigidité, la taille des pores, la perméabilité, l'indice d'orientation des fibres, et des combinaisons desdites caractéristiques.
