An inverter (10) comprises: a body case (1) that accommodates a main circuit board on which is mounted a main circuit terminal block wired with high-voltage wires, and a control board on which is mounted a control terminal block wired with low-voltage wires; a wiring cover (2) that covers the main circuit terminal block and is detachably mounted on the body case (1); and a front cover (5) that covers the control terminal block and is detachably mounted on the wiring cover (2), said front cover (5) being fixed to the body case (1) by a fastening member that requires a tool for removal. The front cover (5) comprises a stopper (53) positioned on the track in which the wiring cover (2) moves when the wiring cover (2) is removed from the body case (1) in a state where the front cover (5) is mounted on the wiring cover (2), and the wiring cover (2) and the body case (1) have a mating structure by which recesses and projections mate when the wiring cover (2) is mounted on the body case (1).
