Disclosed in the present invention is a knob cap for a high pressure tank, comprising: a first knob cap part having a coupling groove formed on the lower surface thereof coupled to a knob of a liner of a high pressure tank, a peripheral wing portion extending outward in contact with the surface of the liner outside of a lower portion thereof, and a column-shaped column portion extending upward at the center thereof; and a second knob cap part integrally coupled to the first knob cap part and having a hollow into which the column portion of the first knob cap part is inserted, and a plurality of column-shaped inner grooves each having an open upper end and extending downward formed on the outside of the hollow.
