This boiler internal inspection method includes: a step for placing, in a furnace of a boiler, an inspection unit for inspecting the inside of the boiler; a step for moving the inspection unit while visually observing same through an ash discharge port formed at the the lower end of a water-cooled wall of the furnace; and a step for inspecting the inside of the boiler by means of the inspection unit.
