This airbag device comprises: a seat frame that forms a skeleton of a vehicle seat on which a passenger of a vehicle sits; an airbag that is disposed in a backrest part of the vehicle seat which supports the back of the passenger, and that is deployed upon supply of gas; and a gas generator that is disposed in a seat part of the vehicle seat which supports the buttocks of the passenger, and that generates the gas to be supplied to the airbag. An area that constitutes a portion of the seat frame and that includes at least a portion of a back frame that forms the skeleton of the backrest part is formed as a distribution pipe which is connected to the airbag so as to supply the gas generated by the gas generator to the airbag.
