Summary:An optical fiber connection component (1) is provided with: a glass plate (21) that has a plurality of first through-holes (25); a resin ferule (31) that has a plurality of second through-holes (38) respectively coaxial to the first through-holes (25) and that is fixed to the glass plate (21); and a plurality of optical fibers (10) that each include a glass fiber (11) and a cover resin (12) covering the glass fiber (11). The glass fiber (11) exposed from a leading end of each of the optical fibers is held in a corresponding one of the first through-holes (25) and a corresponding one of the second through-holes (38). The bending elastic modulus of the material forming the resin ferule (31) is 5 GPa or more at 200℃. L'invention concerne un composant de connexion de fibre optique (1) qui est pourvu : d'une plaque de verre (21) qui a une pluralité de premiers trous traversants (25) ; d'une ferrule de résine (31) qui a une pluralité de seconds trous traversants (38) respectivement coaxiaux par rapport aux premiers trous traversants (25) et qui est fixée à la plaque de verre (21) ; et d'une pluralité de fibres optiques (10) qui comprennent chacune une fibre de verre (11) et une résine de recouvrement (12) recouvrant la fibre de verre (11). La fibre de verre (11) exposée à partir d'une extrémité avant de chacune des fibres optiques est maintenue dans un trou correspondant parmi les premiers trous traversants (25) et un trou correspondant parmi les seconds trous traversants (38).
