L'invention concerne un guide de trépan crânien amélioré (10) pour guider un trépan pendant le perçage d'un trou d'accès au cerveau dans un crâne, l'amélioration comprenant un corps de guidage allongé ayant une paroi (14) définissant un trou traversant interne (16) le long de celui-ci, le trou traversant (16) étant dimensionné pour recevoir le trépan, et une ouverture latérale (18) étant formée dans la paroi (14) pour le passage de débris osseux du trépan à l'extérieur du corps de guidage (12).
