The present invention relates to a blender including blades having protrusions and recesses or slopes. The blender according to the present invention comprises: a container in which food materials are accommodated; a main body provided below the container so as to support the container; a lid detachably mounted on the upper surface of the container so as to open/close the top of the container; a blade assembly for crushing the food materials inside the container by means of the blades; and the like. In addition, the blades have at least one end of which the thickness is formed to be thinner than that of the center portion. Therefore, the crushing efficiency of food materials is improved and noise is reduced.
