L'invention concerne une membrane microporeuse en polyoléfine telle que l'épaisseur de la membrane va de 1,0 à 17,0 μm inclus, le module de flexion, qui est la valeur de la rigidité à la flexion (gf × cm2/cm) dans la direction longitudinale (MD) divisée par le cube de l'épaisseur de la membrane (µm), va de 0,3 (μgf × cm2/cm)/μm3 à 1,5 (μgf × cm2/cm)/μm3 inclus, et la résistance à la perforation convertie en poids de la base va de 70 gf/(g/m2) à 160 gf/(g/m2) inclus.
