The invention is directed to a ski pole comprising a longitudinal shaft. The shaft includes a cross-section that comprises: -a first part including a curved first portion arranged symmetric about a cross- sectional centerline (CL) of the shaft, and -a second part including a second portion arranged symmetric about the cross- sectional centerline. Wherein the first part is connected to the second part by side parts including side portions, each side part comprises a first end connected to an end of the first part and a second end connected to an end of the second par, each connection between the side parts and the first and second parts forms a corner, such that there are total four corners in the cross-section of the shaft. La présente invention concerne un bâton de ski comprenant une tige longitudinale. La tige a une section transversale qui comprend : - une première partie comprenant une première portion incurvée agencée symétriquement autour d'une ligne centrale transversale (CL) de la tige, et - une seconde partie comprenant une seconde portion agencée symétriquement autour de la ligne centrale transversale. Là où la première partie est reliée à la seconde partie par des parties latérales comprend des portions latérales, chaque partie latérale comprenant une première extrémité reliée à une extrémité de la première partie et une seconde extrémité reliée à une extrémité de la seconde partie, chaque liaison entre les parties latérales et les première et seconde parties forme un coin, de telle sorte qu'il y a total quatre coins dans la section transversale de la tige.
