Summary: | An equalizing charging circuit for a super-power battery for a locomotive, and a control and management method. According to the charging circuit, single batteries are first connected in parallel and then connected in series to form a battery pack, multiple battery packs are connected in series to form a power supply branch circuit, each branch circuit is connected in parallel to an intermediate direct current loop by means of an anti-parallel diode of an IGBT for supplying power to a load, and the multiple branch circuits share a pre-charging resistor to charge an intermediate direct current loop capacitor. The charging control and management method comprises: during charging, each branch circuit is controlled by an independent IGBT to separately control a charging current of each branch circuit, so that the battery states of charge (SOC) of the branch circuits are consistent and voltages thereof are equalized.
