The present invention relates to a plug coupler for a socket, to which a plug is coupled, wherein the plug coupler comprises: a coupler housing formed by an upper plate and a lower plate coupled to each other, having a pair of power terminal holes provided at the center thereof, and having a pair of ground holes provided on the outer circumferential surface thereof; and a break shutter, which is installed between the upper plate and the lower plate, simultaneously blocks the power terminal holes and the ground holes by an elastic spring before the plug is coupled thereto, and is operated by power terminal rods entering the power terminal holes to simultaneously open the power terminal holes and the ground holes when the plug is coupled thereto.
