Summary:A brake pad retainer arrangement for holding a brake pad in position relative to a disc in a disc brake. The arrangement comprises an elongated retainer bracket (230) arranged to extend transversely over the disc (130) and the brake pad (220), wherein the retainer bracket is spring loaded (240) to press against a rim portion (320) of the brake pad The retainer bracket is also arranged to engage the rim portion at an angle (a), thereby biasing the brake pad in a direction away from the disc. L'invention concerne un ensemble de retenue de plaquette de frein servant à immobiliser une plaquette de frein par rapport à un disque dans un frein à disque. L'ensemble comprend un support de retenue allongé (230) agencé pour s'étendre transversalement au-dessus du disque (130) et de la plaquette de frein (220), le support de retenue étant à ressort (240) de façon à appuyer contre une partie rebord (320) de la plaquette de frein. Le support de retenue étant également agencé pour venir en contact avec la partie de rebord selon un angle (a), sollicitant ainsi la plaquette de frein dans une direction opposée au disque.
