An opening-closing device for an opening-closing body, wherein an opening-closing control unit monitors the drive states of a plurality of drive units by means of signals from a detection unit, executes a step S20 (first step) for determining whether any one of the drive units is experiencing an independent abnormality, which is an abnormal state occurring independently, when a back door is being moved by the plurality of drive units and a step S40 (second step) for determining whether the drive units are experiencing a relative abnormality, which is an abnormal state occurring relative to each other, and places the plurality of drive units in a free state allowing the back door to move by external force if the result of performing step S20 is that any one of the drive units has been determined to be experiencing an independent abnormality and the result of performing step S40 is that the drive units are determined to be normal relative to each other. By using such an opening-closing device, it is possible to prevent damage to the connections of the drive units, opening member, and opening-closing body or respective main bodies thereof while using a simple structure. L'invention concerne un dispositif d'ouverture/fermeture pour un corps d'ouverture/fermeture, une unité de commande d'ouverture/fermeture surveillant les états d'entraînement d'une pluralité d'unités d'entraînement au moyen de signaux provenant d'une unité de détection, exécutant une étape S20 (première étape) pour déterminer si l'une quelconque des unités d'entraînement subit une anomalie indépendante, qui est un état anormal se produisant indépendamment, lorsqu'une porte arrière est déplacée par la pluralité d'unités d'entraînement, et une étape S40 (deuxième étape) pour déterminer si les unités d'entraînement subissent une anomalie relative, qui est un état anormal se produisant l'une par rapport à l'autre, et plaçant la pluralité d'unités d'entraînement dans un état libre permettant à la porte arrière de se déplacer par l'intermédiaire d'une force externe si le résultat de l'étape S20 est que l'une quelconque des unités d'entraînement a été déterminée comme subissant une anomalie indépendante et le résultat de l'étape S40 est que les unités d'entraînement sont déterminées comme étant normales l'une par rapport à l'autre.
