A semiconductor device according to the present invention is provided with: a support medium; a semiconductor chip disposed on the support medium; and a die-bonding material used to bond the rear surface of the semiconductor chip and the support medium, wherein a plurality of cutouts are made at edges formed between the rear surface of the semiconductor chip and lateral surfaces contiguous to the rear surface, and the die-bonding material is integrally provided to the respective cutouts.
