The present invention relates to a user input/output interface integrated circuit (IC) which is installed in an apparatus comprising: a first input means configured in the form of a key button; a second input means configured in the form of a knob connected to a rotary encoder; a first output means configured in the form of a display for outputting visual information by emitting LED light; a second output means for generating buzzer sound to output aural information; and a microcontroller unit (MCU), wherein the user input/output interface IC has an independent shape separated from the MCU and controls the output driving of at least one of the first output means and the second output means on the basis of an input signal generated from the first input means or the second input means.
