The main housing 2 has a main axis of extension 36 and accommodates a light indicator 4 for indicating an operational condition of the personal care device 1. The light indicator 4 has a light emitting surface 6, that extends circumferentially around the main housing 2 as a closed-loop surface about the main axis of extension 36, and a light guiding wall 31 of which at least a portion, including the closed- loop surface, extends as a closed-loop wall portion 40 about the main axis of extension. L'invention concerne un dispositif portatif de soins personnels (1), comprenant un boîtier principal (2) destiné à être tenu à la main, et une unité fonctionnelle (3) reliée au boîtier principal (2) et conçue pour effectuer une opération de soins personnels sur une partie du corps d'un utilisateur. Le boîtier principal (2) comporte un axe principal d'extension (36) et accueille un indicateur lumineux (4) qui indiquer un état opérationnel du dispositif de soins personnels (1).
