Summary:Techniques described in this application are directed to an autonomous robot that is configured to interact with its environment through identifying the presence and emotional state (e.g. mood) of the live subjects in the scene. The autonomous robot includes one or more remote physiological data measuring sensor that is capable of remotely measuring physiological data such as the heart rate, blood circulation or respiratory activity of the live subjects within close proximity of the robot. Les techniques de la présente invention concernent un robot autonome qui est configuré pour interagir avec son environnement par identification de la présence et de l'état émotionnel (par ex., humeur) des sujets vivants dans la scène. Le robot autonome comprend un ou plusieurs capteurs de mesure de données physiologiques à distance qui sont capables de mesurer à distance des données physiologiques telles que la fréquence cardiaque, la circulation sanguine ou l'activité respiratoire des sujets vivants à proximité immédiate du robot.
