An overhead light fixture (10) includes a driver assembly (20) and a light-emitting assembly (70). The driver assembly includes a driver (50) and a housing (22). The light-emitting assembly is operably connected to the driver and configured for downward emission of light from a light source (72) of the light-emitting assembly. The light emitting assembly is detachably secured to the driver assembly. The light fixture is configured to be mounted to a canopy sheet (5) of an overhead canopy (3), with the driver assembly disposed above the canopy sheet and the light-emitting assembly disposed below the canopy sheet. The driver assembly is optionally configured so that, when the light-emitting assembly is detached from the driver assembly, the driver is removable downwardly through the base portion. A bezel (80) is optionally disposed around a lens (76) of the light-emitting assembly, for aesthetic reasons and/or for controlling a degree of lateral emission of light from the light fixture. La présente invention concerne un appareil d'éclairage (10) par en haut qui comprend un ensemble d'entraînement (20) et un ensemble électroluminescent (70). L'ensemble d'entraînement (200) comprend un dispositif d'entraînement (50) et un boîtier (22). L'ensemble électroluminescent est raccordé fonctionnellement au dispositif d'entraînement et conçu pour une émission vers le bas de la lumière émanant d'une source de lumière (72) de l'ensemble électroluminescent. L'ensemble électroluminescent est fixé amovible à l'ensemble d'entraînement. L'appareil d'éclairage est conçu pour être monté sur une feuille (5) d'auvent d'un auvent suspendu (3), l'ensemble d'entraînement étant disposé au-dessus de la feuille d'auvent et l'ensemble électroluminescent étant disposé au-dessous de la feuille d'auvent. L'ensemble d'entraînement est éventuellement conçu de sorte que, lorsque l'ensemble électroluminescent est détaché de l'ensemble d'entraînement, le dispositif d'entraînement peut être retiré vers le bas à travers la partie de base. Une lunette (80) est disposée éventuellement autour d'une lentille (76) de l'ensemble électroluminescent, pour des raisons esthétiques et/ou pour régler un degré d'émission latérale de lumière à partir de l'appareil d'éclairage.
