This indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided with an air outlet grill that is provided at an air outlet port. The air outlet grill comprises: a frame body; a design member provided on the front surface of the frame body and having a first design surface; and at least one mounting portion to which an additional device having a second design surface is mounted. The mounting portion is provided on a portion of the end of the back surface of the design member. When the additional device is not attached to the mounting portion, the first design surface forms the design surface of the air outlet grill. When the additional device is attached to the mounting portion, the first design surface together with the second design surface forms the design surface of the air outlet grill.
