The present invention relates to a biomass upgrading process comprising a steam-cracking step for producing a granulated combustible product, characterized in that it comprises, prior to said granulation step, a step of mixing the intermediate pulverulent product resulting from the steam-cracking of the biomass and a pulverulent material having a high lignin content. La présente invention se rapport à un procédé de valorisation de biomasse comportant une étape de vapocraquage pour produire un produit combustible granulé caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une étape de mélange du produit pulvérulent intermédiaire issu du vapocraquage de la biomasse et d'un matériau pulvérulent à haute teneur en lignine, préalablement à ladite étape de granulation.
