According to one embodiment, a mobile communication network component is described comprising a memory configured to store information indicating whether slice-specific re-authentication and re-authorization is to be performed for a mobile terminal, a determiner configured to determine, based on the stored information, whether for a mobile terminal a slice-specific re- authentication and re-authorization is to be performed and a controller configured to initiate a slice-specific re- authentication and re-authorization if the determiner determines that a slice-specific re-authentication and re-authorization is to be performed.
