[Problem] To detect mismatches between actual manuscript length and manuscript image length, which occurs when a protective sheet is used in imaging devices of the type whereby an image of a manuscript is captured while the manuscript is being conveyed to an imaging unit. [Solution] An information processing device comprising: an image acquisition unit that obtains scanned images that have been obtained by capturing images while a manuscript and a protective sheet are simultaneously conveyed; a first acquisition unit that obtains a first length being the length, in the conveyance direction, of a prescribed section of the protective sheet; a second acquisition unit that obtains a second length being the length of a prescribed section of the scanned image, in the conveyance direction; and an estimation unit that, on the basis of the first length and the second length, estimates the ratio between the manuscript length, being the length of the manuscript in the conveyance direction, and the manuscript image length being the length of the manuscript in the scanned image in the conveyance direction. [Problème] Détecter des défauts d'appariement entre une longueur de manuscrit réelle et une longueur d'image de manuscrit, qui se produit lorsqu'une feuille de protection est utilisée dans des dispositifs d'imagerie du type selon lequel une image d'un manuscrit est capturée tandis que le manuscrit est transporté vers une unité d'imagerie.
