One aspect of the present invention relates to a theft prevention device. This theft prevention device is a device for preventing theft of a generator that can be electrically connected to a work machine, and is characterized by being provided with: an acquisition means which acquires, from a plurality of generators, location information about each generator; a setting means which sets, as an allowed area for movement, a single area containing the locations of the plurality of generators, on the basis of the location information acquired by the acquisition means; and a notification means which provides a prescribed notification if at least one of the plurality of generators has been moved out of the allowed area for movement set by the setting means.
