Provided is a method for generating an HDR image by: obtaining a plurality of images captured at different exposure levels; generating at least one transformation matrix indicating a corresponding area between the plurality of images; determining a motion level for each corresponding area between the plurality of images, on the basis of the transformation matrix; generating a blending map indicating a blending ratio of the plurality of images in each pixel, on the basis of the determined motion level; and blending the plurality of images on the basis of the blending map.
