One aspect of a motor unit of the present invention comprises: a motor body having a rotor which rotates about a central axis which extends along the up-down direction, and a stator which is located radially outward of the rotor; a one-way clutch which has an inner ring and an outer ring, the inner ring being linked to the rotor; a housing which accommodates the motor body; and a holding member which is affixed to the housing and is linked to the outer ring, wherein the holding member is constituted by the same type of material as the outer ring.
