Summary:A cantilever (30) for an ultrasound acoustic microscopy device is provided comprising a transmission tip (31) to contact a sample (11) to therewith transmit an ultrasound acoustic signal as an ultrasound acoustic wave into the sample. The cantilever further comprises a reception tip (32) separate from the transmission tip (31) to contact the sample to receive an acoustic signal resulting from reflections of the ultrasound wave from within the sample. L'invention concerne un porte-à-faux (30) pour un dispositif de microscopie acoustique ultrasonore comprenant une pointe de transmission (31) destinée à entrer en contact avec un échantillon (11) pour transmettre ainsi un signal acoustique ultrasonore sous la forme d'une onde acoustique ultrasonore dans l'échantillon. Le porte-à-faux comprend en outre une pointe de réception (32) séparée de la pointe de transmission (31) destinée à entrer en contact avec l'échantillon pour recevoir un signal acoustique résultant de réflexions de l'onde ultrasonore provenant de l'intérieur de l'échantillon.
