La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un polymère modifié à base de diènes conjugués, le procédé comprenant l'ajout, pendant la modification, d'un composé à base d'ester de phosphate de polyoxyéthylène présentant une structure spécifique, conjointement avec du chlorure de soufre en tant qu'agent modifiant, la reproductibilité de la modification pouvant être considérablement améliorée et un processus stable pouvant être mis en œuvre.
