A decorative molded component (23a) comprises: a base body (52) having a shell body (54) that expands along a mating surface (S), and a transparent opening section (58) that is adjacent to the shell body (54) along the mating surface (S); and a molded body (35) that is covered by the mating surface (S), is contiguous with a surface body (53) that is joined to the shell body (54), and extends over the transparent opening section (58). As a result, it is possible to provide a decorative molded component in which the functions of both members are preserved while improving the appearance thereof.
