The present invention relates to a method for preparing wrinkle-shaped polymethylsilsesquioxane particles, and polymethylsilsesquioxane powder comprising the polymethylsilsesquioxane particles prepared thereby and, more particularly, to: a method for preparing wrinkle-shaped polymethylsilsesquioxane particles, comprising the steps of preparing a catalyst solution by mixing a selected catalyst in an organic solvent, preparing a reaction solution by adding two or more different types of silanes into the catalyst solution, and synthesizing polymethylsilsesquioxane (PMSQ) particles having wrinkles on the surface thereof by using the reaction solution; and polymethylsilsesquioxane powder comprising polymethylsilsesquioxane particles prepared thereby.
