Provided are a device operation control method and apparatus, and a clothes treatment apparatus. The method comprises: acquiring, by means of a controller of a device, an abnormality detection signal collected by a hand pinching prevention sensor; querying an operation state of a drive component in the device; and identifying, according to the operation state of the drive component, that the abnormality detection signal is a false alarm, and controlling the drive component so that same maintains the operation state. By combining the abnormality detection signal detected by the sensor with the operation state of the drive component to identify whether an abnormality is a false alarm, the case of an abnormality false alarm can be filtered accurately, so that reliability is relatively high. The technical problem in the prior art, of relatively low accuracy resulting from carrying out detection and abnormality identification only by means of a sensor, is solved.
